Dear Mr Not So Important....

Dear Not So Important,
I want to tell you that you are a major jerk. I want to tell you that you have major insecurity issues if you feel the need to demean people below you. Some people fear the hell out of you, and I wonder why? You're a Walgreen's robot. Walgreens does not care about you, just like you do not care about your own workers. You are part of a relentless game of money and materialism. You thought you could judge me within five minutes of meeting me, so I figured I would return the favor. You want to be a corporate hot shot? Why don't you begin with looking professional. Your suit looked cheap, and you are wearing about a size 40? You most likely went to college, but the questions that came out of your mouth could have been better asked by a five year old. I apologize that while you were asking me such petty questions that I was just trying to not throw up on your cheap looking suit because of my morning sickness. Oh, and yes, my name tag was facing to the left because my smock was open, due to my growing stomach because I happen to be pregnant. But you didn't know any of this, you judged me off of childish questions. Maybe you should take some tips from Mr. Banks. He at least knows how to be professional, dress the part  and be courteous. He takes the time to see how you are doing and how the job is going, while asking his "important" business questions. I always have answers for Mr. Banks because I respect him. I am sorry, but you will not automatically receive respect just because you think you are "important." Upon my five minutes of meeting you, I already felt a sense that you are weak and a tad pathetic. You have and show no human emotions what-so-ever and have this dumb looking grin on your face that everyone can see through. I purposely was not answering your questions because I believed you to be utterly annoying. You even seemed to have Mr. Banks uptight. He was scared to even walk near you. That is pathetic. You have no right to treat people like numbers. If you want people to work for you and produce these "numbers" you talk about, then you need to treat them accordingly. I did my fair share of work at Hanover. I pushed to have a 30% increase in sales over last year, and to be 1 of 7 stores who was up in sales in November of 2013. So to tell my manager that you "know" I am always the way I acted that morning on December 17th, makes you look like a complete idiot. Like I said, much of this may not be true, but I figured it was only fair to pass my five minute judgement of you.

Be Well & God Bless,
AMY EDELMAN

He is A Person Too

This post is just a little about my opinions on loving your fiance/husband.

I feel that with society the way it is or is headed, the male population gets a bad rap.
Woman are never satisfied. I believe that is because most of us have such high standards on how a man should be. But, what happens when we find that man?

I still see desperation in wanting more from the man who already gives you everything.
I am guilty of this myself, so I have to spend time reminding myself of what I was blessed with.
You have to remember that a man is also a person. He has feelings, that he was raised to hide or they would cause shame and humiliation. They may be better at hiding their emotions, but they are there.

I feel that since men can't or don't feel comfortable sharing those emotions with the one they are closest with, they will find another outlet that is easier to cope with. Yes, sometimes this means the worst. Whether it means they cheat, start gambling, hiding money, becoming alcoholics, doing drugs or even disconnecting himself completely from the world around him.

This is when he needs you the most.

Don't make your partner in life feel less of a man because he cries hear and there. Listen to him. We all know us woman love to counsel and talk, but just stay quiet and really listen to what is going on with him. We want that from him, so it's only right to give in return. Don't ever go out of your way to make him feel less of a man. If anything, you want a man who relies on you for emotional support. (I am not saying to the extreme here, if he is emotional 24/7 something probably isn't right either.)

You are in this life together. You need to build a strong bond between the two of you to have a successful relationship. No, this does not mean that everything is going to be easy, but if you have that special bond when you begin your journey together, those hard times will pass.

Just a little insight for the day <3

Cute Wedding Poem

Bride and Groom

Two hands to hold onto forever.
Two arms to be embraced by eternally.
Two eyes to gaze into always.
Two lips to kiss so passionately.

Two souls fused by commitment.
Two names written in the stars above.
Two lives intertwined by God.
Two hearts joined by the purest of love.

Lord, help us to remember when we first met.
And the strong love that grew between us.
Help us to work that love into practical things.
So nothing can divide us.

We ask for words both kind and loving.
And hearts always ready to ask for forgiveness.
As well as to forgive.
Dear Lord, we put our marriage into Your hands.

I am not sure who to give credit to. I found this on Ebay.

Personal Challenge: Days 4, 5, 6 & 7

So I have been MIA for a few days, but I have been busy!
I was at the gym Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday and today I haven't done any exercise.
That is me being 100% lazy.
BUT
I've been carefully watching my food, so I don't feel that bad.

I went to a local farmer's market for the first time to stock up on
healthy foods. Here is some of what I got....
Broccoli, Kale, Fresh garlic, grapes, garlic hummus and some lettuce.
I paid around $10.00.

I also made one of my favorite dishes for dinner Friday night!
It is sauteed Kale, garlic and onions with Boca meatless crumbles mixed in.
Sauteed in Extra Virgin Olive Oil!
So yummy!
I actually got the "recipe" from Bridget Nicole.

Tomorrow I weight myself to see if I lost any weight.
Hopefully 1-2lbs. I would be happy :)

My Year of 2011: November and December

NOVEMBER

I started to work out again.
I had stopped in July,  but I didn't gain any weight back.
I started to get involved with the whole mind, body spiritual journey.
Started listening to some Christmas tunes at the end of the month.
Had a great Thanksgiving with the family.
We set the date for our wedding.
It's October 20, 2012.
Went to my first "male review" with my new friend from Walgreens.

December
Hosted an "open house" for Avon, and no one came. haha
BUT it made for a great day with my friend Dawn. Wine and the OC.
Saw the Puss in Boots movie
Gold's gym closed on December 16th, so I was without a gym.
Saw my old neighbors at their Christmas party.
My mom and I volunteered at a children's winter school event. Photos with Santa!
Toby got me a new cell phone, Droid Charge.
and of course, celebrating Christmas with the family!

 haha that's my dad!
My stuffed Rudolf I got 50% off at Walgreens. haha

HAPPY 2012 Everyone!
My goal is to make more memories this year.
To not let a day just slip away.
Every day is a fresh start.

My Year of 2011: September and October

SEPTEMBER

Yeah, Toby and I got addicted to the show Desperate Housewives.
It was my parent's 25th wedding anniversary on September 13th.
I modeled in an Avon show.
And I planned my second Avon party.

I worked for almost a month and a half straight with no days off.

Just a rainbow from the Macungie Walgreens!

OCTOBER

Well I turned 23.
It was Toby and I's 7th year anniversary.
I had my Avon Halloween party.
Not so successful, but fun as heck!
I participated in the Walk for Diabetes in Bethlehem with my manager from Walgreens.
I dressed up as a vampire this year.
Spent an entire shift at work with the power being out.
The snow storm knocked power out for 4 days.

My Year of 2011: July and August

JULY
Well I finally found a job with a company called Crossmark.
It was a 3 month project to reset 13 Walgreens.
We had to travel a few times.
So it was my first time ever leaving Toby and being by myself.
I met quite a few awesome people!
I didn't blog all that much because I was so busy with work.

Having a good time with my co workers at TGI Fridays!

I was so busy, these were the only photos taken that month!

August

This was also a good month!
My Aunt Jackie got married, we went to the reception.
I got my first speeding ticket coming home from Dallas, PA.
I went to Shady Maple for the first time for lunch.
I got hired at Walgreens on August 25th. A steady job for when Crossmark ended.

 My sister and I.
My Aunt Jackie's wedding cake.

Personal Challenge: Day 2 & 3

DAY 2

Well, day two did not go as planned.
I did well with my eating plan....
(Click photo to enlarge)

BUT,
I went to the gym an hour later than usual because I thought it would
be less crowded, and it wasn't. IT WAS PACKED! So packed, that people
were waiting in small lines just to use the weight lifting equipment. I planned to do
biceps and triceps, and well that didn't happen.
I was so pissed off that I only did 20 mins of cardio and I left.

DAY 3

Yesterday was good. Not great, not horrible, just good.

I took a few photos of some of my meals for the day...
One egg on a Fiber One english muffin and fat free milk
 THE MOST AMAZING CREAMER! lol
I prefer the one called "Sweet Cream," but my store was sold out.
This one is vanilla, good, but not as good.
I only know about it because of Bridget Nicole.
Don't know what I am talking about, here's her Facebook page
And my half eaten lunch. lol.
I remembered midway to take a photo.

I spent 45 mins at the gym.
I did 15 minutes on this Cybex? machine.
It's like an awkward elliptical...
I also did the 30 minute express workout at Planet Fitness.
The lifting equipment once again was too packed for me to lift.
