My Year of 2011: May and June

MAY
May was a good month.
I spent WAY too much time blogging.
Toby would always remind me about it, haha.
All I did was sleep, eat, workout and blog.
I enjoyed it though!
And I felt better than ever this month! Nothing but positive energy!
I began looking for a job. Money was beginning to get a little tight.
I hit 187lbs on May 8. Down from 202lbs March 29th.
I found www.myfitnesspal.com to log my workouts and eating. 


 I felt amazing!


 My little sister's first prom. I did her hair and make-up.


JUNE

I hit 182lbs on June 8th. 
Taking me down to a 20lb weight loss.
That felt amazing!
I was still training hard and looking for a job. lol
I started my 101 goals in 1001 days.

Oh and I also started selling Avon in the beginning!

 I went to a Dominican wedding with a friend that doesn't talk to me anymore?
I held my first Avon house party.

My Year of 2011: March and April

MARCH

Ah yes, I remember this month well.
I quit the Hartford on March 11th.
Best day of my life.
Oh and I also got addicted to the show Army Wives. haha

That is basically all I did that month. Not very eventful.

 A few co-workers and I went to TGI Fridays on my last day.
 What I got to deal with being home. His breathe stank.
 A drinking night at my friend Kenni's!
Spent a lot of time on a cat blog I made.

APRIL

I took my mom for some tests at the hospital.
I dog sat for a friend and ended up getting bitten by Mittens.
I began working out to lose my "Hartford" weight.
Started at 202lbs at the end of March.
(I now weigh 174)
The idea of joining the National Guard began. 
I was training very hard for it.
Oh and I started blogging daily!

 Celebrated my Dad's 51st Birthday.

Warm-up: Treadmill 4.5mph for 10mins

35 Minutes of LEG TRAINING!

Leg extension (45lbs) 3 sets of 12
Leg Press (85lbs) 3 sets of 12
Calf Press (85lbs) 3 sets of 12
Glute Machine (Per leg) (45lbs) 1 set of 8 (55lbs) 2 sets of 8
Seated Leg Curl (45lbs) 3 Sets of 10
Wall Sit 2 sets of 30 seconds
Walking lunge 20 each leg (total 40)

Calories Burned: 135

I am going to try and take photos of my foods and such.
I was just really busy throughout the day.

My Year of 2011: January and February

January

This was the month I was TRULY over with my job at the Hartford.
It was the time in my life where I felt trapped, angry and filled with hatred.
I spent most of the month crying, eating, and sleeping.
Also, arguing with Toby a ton.

FEBRUARY

This month was still as crappy in the beginning.
However, we did plan a little vacation to the Cove Haven Resorts for Valentine's Week.
I did a recent post on it, with photos and such.
While on this vacation, I realized that I needed to leave the Hartford.
I finally knew what life was really about.
It wasn't about having that nice paycheck every other week.
It was about being with the ones you love and appreciating your time with them.
I put a three week notice in the week I got back from our trip.
It was also the month we got bad news about my mom. Health complications.
(Currently everything is okay.)

One Month Workout Challenge

I will list daily what my actual work outs are
but I wanted to outline what I will be doing.
I am going to try and blog my food and workouts daily.

For starters:
My weigh in this morning was 178.6lbs.

Measurements
NECK: 14"
CHEST: 39"
R. ARM: 12"
L. ARM: 12"
WAIST: 35.5"
HIPS: 43.5"
R. THIGH: 24.5"
L. THIGH: 24.5"
R. CALF: 15"
L. CALF: 15"

This workout begins Sunday January 22 and ends February 25.

Sundays: Legs, cardio & Pilates
Mondays: Biceps & Triceps, cardio & Pilates
Tuesdays: Shoulders & Back, cardio & Pilates
Wednesdays: Chest & Abs, cardio & Pilates
Thursdays: "Monday"
Friday: "Tuesday"
Saturday: "Wednesday"

Now, things will fluctuate a tad from time to time. I may choose to do a workout
video instead of pilates, or instead of cardio. The reason I do not have
a rest day is because one of the days during
the week I am not going to be doing a whole lot.
Plus, it's a one month challenge I created for myself.

Valentine's Trip Idea

I LOVE Valentine's day!
I just love the colors and spending a romantic day with my Fiance.
I must say, just about every day is Valentine's day to me.
My Fiance is just the most amazing man.
I am so grateful to have him in my life.
Last year we booked a suite at the Cove Haven Resorts.
We chose to stay at Paradise Streams in a room called the
"Garden of Eden Apple."

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights.
We paid around $700.00

It includes and all-you-can eat breakfast buffet style.
On Tuesdays, you can have breakfast in bed.
They deliver it to you with a small bottle of Verdi.
Personally, the delivered breakfast was not as good as the buffet.

You were on your own for lunch, but you do have a fridge in your room and there is
a cafe that you can order from or go to. Plus, up the road was a Burger King and a few 
other restaurants.

Dinner was around 6:30, I think. There were certain foods to choose from 
for dinner, but there were feature dinners. The staff was amazing.
They were all friendly and we tipped well for it.

They also had night time entertainment.
The had appetizers in the lounge each night and you could order drinks
and there was usually some type of activity.
One night they had Wii Bowling.

Later in the evenings there was a band or a comedian. There was a game show one night and
it was males vs. females. That was fun!

 OMGoodness. That was me at my heaviest!

There were plenty of things to do off the resort.
We went horseback riding. That was eventful.
It was my first time, and probably my last.
Not because of the stable, just because horseback riding is not my thing. haha

There was also a shooting range about 15 minutes away.
I fired my first gun. lol
I'm a big chicken because I don't think I'll do it again.

We visited the Stroudsburg Mall.

The Tannersville Outlets were about 20 minutes away.
The resort gives you coupons for them
I bought my first coach bag! haha

The Mount Airy Casino was nearby.
Cove Haven provided a shuttle to and from the casino.
Which was nice, so we could have a few drinks and not worry about driving.

All around it was a good trip.
I will definitely return again. We will probably stay at one of their other locations.
The other two are Cove Haven and Pocono Palace.

There is SO MUCH more to tell you about, but it might ruin the excite for some of you. lol

New Workouts & Scale!

Today was my day off...FINALLY.
I decided to do a little shopping and I ended up at Wal-Mart.
I purchased 2 new workout DVDS, a scale and a Valentine wreath.


AND

I did the Level 1 in Killer Buns & Thighs.
Honestly, I could not keep up with the beginner in the video. haha
Good workout though!

I love Valentine's Day.
This year Toby & I have reservations at Don Shula's Steakhouse
and then most likely staying overnight at the Sand's Casino hotel!
Super Excited!


Food, Food and Food?

It's been a LONG time since I have posted anything, but I am starting to get in the mood to blog again, 
so let's see how long this lasts!

I have been monitoring how I eat the last week and a half.
I have lost 3lbs. I will take it.
These leaves me at 174lbs, down from 202lbs in March of 2011.

I have been getting my water intake up, it's not easy for me.
I just never liked the taste of water.

So yesterday I logged my food for the day..
I was SO full, I felt like I overate and was like "Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow"
After I logged it, I see that I didn't eat enough!?
Seriously?!
I don't think I could have eaten anymore than I did!

I signed up at Planet Fitness on Friday because my gym (Gold's) has closed for a remodel
that isn't supposed to be done until April.....
I went for the first time yesterday. It was a tad crowded, but not crazy....
What KILLED me, is they have like 5 bowls of tootsie rolls sitting out?
I just did the treadmill for 25 mins, not pushing it because my back has been
in very bad pain the last week..I don't know why!?
Burned 175 calories, better then nothing.
